Default Help purchased halo HIDs and they won't fit

I puchased these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/?cmd=...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

tried to install them today and they aren't even close to fitting they seem like they need to go in another inch. I thought the HID bulb was touching so I took it out and tried to put it in after that and they still don't. If I get them in any further there will not be anyroom for the HID bulb.

Any suggestions.

Shaar, where is your kit made in? How would you rate the quality of your HID's? and do you guys stand behind the lifetime warranty?

Thinking about getting a set for my head lights. Right now, I have 55W kit (from another brand), but would like to size down to 35W. LMK.

Thanks.

When i go back to lows they are like that for a second then even back out. Any idea what is causing this?
Holy blue ricer glare. That looks like *** IMO, wait until it rains.

What is the point of aiming them down? to reduce glare? You also reduce the distance of lighting on the road, and increasing the intensity of the foreground lighting which dilates your pupils and inhibits ability to see objects. You not only do you reduce your own lighting, you glare the crap out of others.

BTW guys, the feds are gonna be cracking down on these PnP HID kits and local law enforcement will follow suit. Do a retro-fit now and save yourself the hassle while greatly improving performance.

When you say retrofit, you mean something like this?

Well thank you for the polite opinion Dr. Science, but my pupils are seeing things just fine, even better than the with the awful pale yellow light of the stock headlights which look like *** IMO. And turning the lights down prevents me from completely blinding the hell out of the poor fellow coming my way, so its either they get some glare off the wet ground when it OCCASIONALLY rains if they are turned down some, or i blind every driver i pass EVERY DAY rain or shine with the lights aimed up.
BTW guy, i've passed several feds and local law enforcement with these lights, hell I even rode behind a Georgia State Patrol (the most hard ***, up tight cops in the state) for a solid 45 mins, and have yet to have any law problems with my lights. Thank you for turning your post into an advertisement, I'll stick to my HID's which apparently look like "***".

Sorry if my post was offensive.

The feds may not care now, but like I said they are cracking down. Glare sucks, and at 10,000k you barely have more lumenous output than factory 65w halogens.

And yes 07HD, that is a retrofit. I have some pics in my gallery as well. I used to run PnP HIDs which i liked the least, silverstarts were a bit better, but the retrofit is just miles and miles ahead of both in performance.

no offense taken man, I just wouldn't use "***" to describe anybody's vehicles on here or how they look. But hey if they crack down on me I'll do what I have to do, hopefully they won't crack down too soon since i just spent $250 on these lights not too long ago.

No prob. BTW, if you can return those I would. You can get PnP kits for ~60 bucks nowadays...could save you some cash. Also, if you are willing to spend $250 on them then you should absolutely do a retrofit. If you like your HIDs now, you will be blown away by the performance of projectors. PM me if you have more questions, but read around at hidplanet.com for some ideas.

I just wish the projectors were less expensive. I have a PnP kit in my truck, totally pleased with the light. If I find some projectors at the junkyard I'd take 'em and start up. I can't justify spending 500 dollars for headlights
