Depends on what you want. BiXenon for hi low beam? Single Hid w just a Hallogen for the high beam? Fogs too? You can get everything for around $200 w free shipping or just a single Hid kit for around $100. 6K IS the norm. I got the 6K because (they are bright) and.. I think (personal opinion) the rich blues (8-10K) and high purples (10-13K) are ghetto and could get you pulled over by the po po!

Another run-of-the-mill Chinese company selling to low end start up HID distributors in the US. Nothing special. The products look like every other HID kit on eBay for $30 shipped Maybe a different letter or number or two on the ballast labels.

Google search takes you to results which looks to be the manufacturer in China at the top of the list. The manufacturer is Parrot Auto Industrial located in Guangzhou.

It has been suggested that the projector lamp headlight housing works the best for HID lights. Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?

Yes, this goes without saying. But when you hear this phrase, its referring to retrofitting an HID projector into your factory headlight housings, retaining the awesome optics and cutoff line of a projector designed for HID. Using a projector designed for halogen bulbs will be nothing like an HID projector (ie. those cheap 'projector' headlights to see on eBay with halos, leds, etc etc). A TRUE retrofit can be expensive and time consuming, which distracts people from going through with it. Installing HID's into a non-hid headlight assembly will intensify the glare that the headlights already produce. This is assuming you are using a quality hid bulb. If you use a cheap bulb with cheaply built and poorly assembled components, the focal point of the xenon arc will not be anywhere near its intended position, and it will CREATE glare.

Projector retrofits are amazing, and i cannot recommend them enough! (if you have the money, time, and patience - and understand the risks that you can destroy your headlight if done incorrectly.) But in retrofit territory -- practice makes perfect

Strange. I'm not aware of any modification or cutting or splicing or soldering necessary for the F150's. Do you have a link to the video? I can see if I can help out!

VVME 8000K kits

Healights are Bi-Xenon.
Fogs are single shot

Problems - lost a headlight bulb the second day I owned the kit, lost a ballast 2 weeks ago, and a fog last week. Kits are barely 3 months old.
