on the second to last picture - the metal with the green plug goes into the bulb. the orange end goes into the ballast. you do need HID ballast to power those bulbs. that yellow plug should be the other plug into the ballast.

Headlights
I can't quite stomach reading through 100 pages to find an answer
With that said, what's generally considered to be the best aftermarket HID option? I have a 2010 Lariat that I'd like to outfit. I'd also like to replace the fog lamps that have had their connections corroded.

What did you end up choosing?

Hey guys. I am having issues with HIDs on my 2017 f150 with anzo switchbacks. Just randomly, my driver side headlight will just turn off. Then sometimes I am able to switch them back on, however lately they won’t come on right away. Has anyone had this issue? At first, I thought it was due to a loose connection and the bumps on the road was causing the issue. Today I noticed it while I was stopped. I am not sure if it’s due to overheating or what? They are morimoto 55w hids

need some help or advise on them or should i return them..??

I would have to say that the answer would be no. If you do get a plug-and-play kit, get it from a reputable seller. Some people like MoriMoto, but I am a fan of Xenono depot. These dealers usually have more info about bulb out warnings, radio Interference, and things like that. Most plug and play kits just go off of your bulb size. With that being said, most people will grill you on having HIDs in halogen housing because of all the reflection and blinding of oncoming traffic. I have a good retrofit in my 13 F150 and a plug and play kit in my Ford edge.

Left Projector Headlight not working...
I have a 2013 FX4 with the projector headlights, I have 6k HIDs in, was messing around trying to wire some illuminated F150 badges with my uncle (who is a great electrician, just not much of a truck guy). Anyhow, he accidentally grounded my left headlight & now it won't come on. The bulb is ok, because I switched the headlight to the opposite side & it works, just won't come on when on the proper side. Checked all fuses & relays, all good. Anyone have any idea what could be the issue? Checked the fuse box under the hood & the bcm on the passenger side in the cabin. Any ideas are greatly appreciated...
