Those are probably housing only, no bulbs or ballast.

I have an 08 screw, i used to have some HID's that i got around the time i first bought the truck, i think they were purchased on ebay and i eventually started having problems with them and took them out. I was thinking about getting some DDM 55w 4500k but is this too much for city driving?

I could go the retrofit way too if I found someone to do it for me but i wasnt looking to spend $500 at the moment. However, i know the quality will be a lot better so

Don't put HIDs into your factory housing with projectors.

You can purchase the Projectors and everything from TRS for a lot less than $500, especially if they're having a group buy. If you get the Mini H1s, the hardest part will be taking the headlights apart. ( A lot easier if you get aftermarket ones)

Okay guys so I'm running halogens right now. I went through two different hid kits and both of em didn't last me more than two months each. I really want to rock hid's so at this point I'm thinking its the truck not the kits. Anything I'm missing? Maybe an aftermarket fuse, relay, or harness I need to buy in order to have durable hids? Any kits y'all recommend?

It was the kits. Read through this thread and don't buy the cheap replacements. Get a real retrofit.
