Got a set of plug and play OEM used lights off ebay from allstarautolightsnorth for a hell of a deal! Even got to use a 10% ebay coupon to sweeten the deal even more!

Default HID Headlights Twitching

I just bought a pair of Spyder Headlights that came with ballasts and installed warning cancellers, but when I plug them in, the bulbs twitch a little. It doesn't matter how long I run with the lights on. I believe a Relay Harness is what could very likely solve this problem, but for which size should I get? I think the kit runs a H1 bulb, but am I correct in thinking that I'll need a Relay Harness for a H13 (9008) because that's what plugs into the headlight? I'm obviously a newbie at all this, but would appreciate any tips or suggestions on how to correct this annoying issue. 2010 F150 Platinum. Below is a link to the headlights and also a link to the relay I think I may need:

Hi.

That's all junk. Sorry.

What you need is this: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.Uu_hlj1dVog

This will allow you to install high-quality components in a Spyder housing. And give you very good output.

good luck

Thanks MGD! I'm trying my best to make lemonade from lemons at a reasonably low price. Once the twitching stops I think I'd be very happy with them, but just unsure of how to get to that point.

You pay for what you get.

You have a platinum, spend a little extra and get quality.

Any idea on the size of rubber caps for the back of the headlights? Mine are dry rotted and since I'm going to be ordering some parts from TRS anyways, I figured I'd replace them as well.

Maybe if you really stretch it. Mine are 100mm for sure.
