According to the DDMtuning website it is possible a HID harness is needed?

HID Harness:
Use this relay harness to connect HIDs to cars with very small gauge wiring that cannot supply the initial surge current required to light the bulbs reliably. Symptoms indicating the harness is required would be intermittent starting or lights going out after being turned on for several minutes and requiring you to turn the lights off and back on for them to turn back on again. Recommended for all 55W HID installations but most American and European cars work at 35W/55W without the harness. The harness is definitely recommended for Quad';s and other ATVs or when running multiple HID installations. This harness is a fused relay isolation harness capable of supplying 20A at 12vdc. Not required when using High / Low kits.

Is this something I would need?

Error Elmininator:
Some cars will generate a bulb out warning message or even turn the headlight/foglights off when connecting HID to them. Our cancellation modules fool the computer in the car and allow the HIDs to work flawlessly. You will receive 2 at this price. These work on 93% of vehicles with computer related issues. NOTE: Certain vehicles will require these to run HID';s properly. ex. Dodges (except Ram), Newer BMW';s & Mercedes etc... Warning: Some vehicles may have reverse polarity. Reverse polarity can cause a BOW to explode. We recommend wearing safety glasses and closing your hood before testing the BOW on your vehicle.

Just wondering if anyone has had any of the above issues that would require me need to purchase an error elimininator? I have a 2011 F150

you shouldn't need the HID harness, most American cars can run without one. I ordered one for my atv but that's only because they have small gauge wiring on them. and as for the error eliminator idk if you will need it on the newer trucks but you dont need it on the older ones

headlights - 55watt either 6,000k or 8,000k 9007/hb5 low beam

fog lights - 35watt 6,000K. don't get 55watt for the fogs because it will hear up so much it will melt your fog light housing, happened to my buds 99

they are pretty much the same except for the slim kit is for tighter spaces. the ballast is smaller on the slim kit which is why it cost a tad more. if you have enough space for the raptor full size kit get it, like I said the slim kit is for tight spaces. there really is no difference between them
