Yes i did my 05 f150 a month ago and very happy with it, took 4 days to do with all the painting i did with the lenses off but well worth it, I got projectors with shutters so i have working high beams now and the low beams are more controlled on the road instead of blinding people.

As a retrofit or stand alone HID?

Either way, yes.

Adding a HID bulb to a stock housing won't net you better output, and the high beam won't be very different from low beam, but it can be done much easier and cheaper than a retro.

You'll blind oncoming traffic...

BEST POSSIBLE READ if you're learning about HID, read my post on page 35. It will blow your mind.

Is there a vendor on here that sells Halos?

I recently purchased a 2013 FX2. I want to add halos to my existing headlights.
