I just installed my 5000k high/low headlight kit along with 5k fog light kit from ddm tuning. The hi/low kit came with a relay harness. I believe I Hooked everything up properly. Lights come on and look great. But when I turn on the high beams the fog lights turn off. Ddm said I may need a relay harness for the fogs. Does anyone know if this is true??? Also where is a good location to mount the ballast?? And what do you use to mount them

Your truck's fogs go off automatically when the high beams are turned on. All 150's do that even with the factory bulbs. mine does it too.

You can modify the fogs to stay on with the highs. Alot of people call it the "Bambi mod", search it I bet you could find a thread on here about how to do it

Anyone have any experience with this HID kit http://www.hidxenonlights.com/ford-f...k-12000k-p-208

I plan to get some projector lenses to go with them just wondered how they hold up. The built in motor that changes filament angle for the high beam effect seems weird but I can see how it would work.

You won't be able to use hi/lo for projector housings that aren't retrofitted.

In housings with halogen projectors there is a separate bulb for the high beam, so again, you don't use it.

You would get a hi/lo kit ONLY if you're using them in stock reflector housings.

No it's directed at any one who puts HIDs in housings not designed for them. So if you do it then yes it's directed at you.

Sorry it's a pet peeve of mine. Anyone who does it is a douch plain and simple
