I have 6000k 8000k and 10000k I prefer the 10000k. Maybe you have a different opinion thats yours to have. Enjoy whatever lights you have.

They are MUCH brighter then stock and those cheap xenon replacement bulbs. Just dont HID in you stock headlights, do a projector retrofit, you will be blown away by the difference. I can hook you up with a set if you want, PM me if interested.

Heres some pics of my projector retrofit.

Your better off saving some money and getting the Spyder brand (ebay) The recons have no cutoff shield in the projectors and the light output, even with HID, is terrible. Im pretty sure the ebay brands do have a cutoff shield and they are cheaper.

*Update* fog ballasts were sending off "emf's" that interfered with my trucks computer. I disconnected the battery then diagnosed the prob , kept the headlights in and now it drives fine.

10'000k does not produce more lumens. It's strictly colour. Look up an HID colour/output chart and you will see that 3000 to 5000k produce the most light output.

Bad ground. Put them back in and just run a ground to frame somewhere.

Fogs don't have a ground. DDM said it happens with fords so I prob need the raptor hids instead of the slim ballast.
