Advise on brighter headlights
I am looking at swapping out the bulbs on my 04 screw lariat. i looked at the silverstars today. Looks like they do a pretty good job of lighting up the night. What do you guys use?
Thanks ahead of time

I use HID (High intensity discharge) lights and they work excellent! a little more than just a bulb swap though. and a more expensive. No experience with the silverstars. sorry

I had silverstars on my Celica before I traded it in for my truck and they are well worth the money. After I busted one of my headlights I went with HID's and it was the best thing I ever did. I say that if money is tight then go with the silverstars, if not, go with the HID's

def go with the HIDS one great thing about them is if your driving on the highway late at night in those sections with no lights (where cops love to hide) you can spot them so easy and slow down lol

Had the Silverstars in my old truck, 95 f150, and was the first thing I changed out when I got it's replacement my current Truck.
I drive a lot of back roads and ranch roads all over South Texas and can tell you in those conditions you will notice the difference.
this is with the standard Silverstars, not the Ultras.
Of course, these will only stay until the HID's I ordered come in

I was looking to put in some Silverstar Ultras a few months back, but the parts guy ordered the wrong ones. Just by chance a friend had a set of new PIAA H13's that he bought before he decided to sell, so I snagged them instead.
They are very bright, but I actually find them slightly harsh. Not overly blue, just a bit cold.
I think I would still like to try the Ultras to see how I like them too. I am just not into a HID kit. I don't need to land Boeings.
