I did one retrofit and now I want to do another one! In my current set up, I have denso ballasts and 35w Osram bulbs

In my next build, I want to use XB55 ballasts and want 50w Phillips or Osram bulbs, but all of them seem to be 35w on TRS???

I hit ya with a reply in Bil's thread. Pretty confident that the bulb is not wattage specific.

I have the 35W hid bulbs with 50W ballasts. This is from Bil which is from TRS. I am not certain about the availability of the 50w hid bulbs, but apparently you get about the same output with the 35w bulbs and the 50w ballasts as you would with the 50w bulbs. You will lose a little bulb life with this setup, but that is the only downside.

I don't mind sacrificing a bit of bulb life.... They are easily replaceable.
