Hi Blazing Kraken,

Hoping this helps - from what I've noticed the low beams do come on if you have the lights set to auto along with the DRLS. I was wondering why this was because they give you a DRL harness to run. What I have realized is that if you switch the lights to off only the DRL's are on. Does that answer your question?

I put a link in my review to the retrofit source - I pre-ordered them and as production was ramping up they gave me an option to upgrade my delivery for a fee. I absolutely took the option because the stocks are so flipping bad. My guess is they had a limited number completed but it sounds like the rest of the pre-orders are getting filled now. I'd give em a call if you're interested, they've been super helpful every time I've talked to them. They're out of ATL so it didn't take long for UPS to get them up the east coast to me. I really can't put in words how much easier it is to see at night, incredible difference. I've caught several other F150 owners with the stock LEDS watching me go by, especially when the sequential blinker is on. They look really good in person.

I love these lights, I think this is my next big purchase. I do have 1 question though, what happens if 1 of the bulbs burns out? I know Morimoto offers a 5 year warranty on these, but after that what do you do?

What do you mean? I'm sure they use a standard bulb size so you just buy the replacement led.

Any dimming issues? Another thread here people have had to reverse the connections to get the DRL to dim when the headlamps come on. I ordered mine a couple weeks back but now wish i would have waited as there are some bugs apparently.

From what I have been reading the bulbs are NOT replaceable, which is why they have a 5 yr warranty. Think you would have to ship them back, thought thats not 100% clear

I ordered mine, along with the smoked tail lights, since my truck is black - waiting for them to come in.

I just asked via PM and was told that you send the whole unit back during warranty period.

So it sounds like they are not field serviceable. Bulb burns out, your truck is without headlight(s) until it ships out , gets fixed and gets repaired.

Not sure I want to go this route.

Keep your stock lights as a back up if needed.
