Lights look great. As long as you are happy with your purchase, that's all that matters. Don't pay any attention to the others. It seems that there are a few people on the forums that have a pet peeve about LED's for some reason and they find it necessary to roam the forum bashing people over their personal preference....

I think they look great. Would you happen to have a photo of the bulb itself, not in the truck ?

There is no peeve here. Just being realistic. LED or HID, we don't like PnP due to the issues it causes. I even said LED tech is getting really good, but just haven't reached HID levels yet. It's just the current situation at this point.

You and MGD can leave it alone then. You said your peace.

I would like to know what you would recommend then. LED.. HID.. Doesn't matter, what do you have installed or would install.

Im currently reading the forums as time permits, lots and lots of stuff.

HID Retrofits. The best lighting has to offer, and it really shows. I have H1 6.0 projectors installed in my truck. MGD has EVOX-R projectors, if I remember correctly. This is the output of mine. While good, they only get better from this point. The new 7.0s, FX-R's, MD2S, etc... so many choices.

The fogs actually do have the same color temp as the headlights, it's just the camera plays tricks:

Low beams only

Low beams and fog lights

Can you post night shots? I would love to see how these light up the road.

Hmmm... you don't seem to be too fond of me or MGD. Just like him. You know, I have very little reason to doubt that you aren't 02_Lightning.

Sure I'll try some tonight if I can. I'll try and find a dead end (well not my dead end, one without street lights) or a dark parking lot. My block doesn't show the amount of light they throw. The fogs may not work properly, as I said, i have to aim those still.

It's tough to do a "shoot out" on our trucks, you have to remove the entire housing. Makes it difficult to quickly swap lights in/out. I have StreetGlow sending me lights, and I PLAN to test those, because I worked there, know the owner, etc... but other kits, i can't see myself taking the time to test them all.

You can't beat the replacement housings w/lights. You get a housing designed for the lights. But for those who can't drop... what is it, $800 or so on Ford LED lights (does that include the LEDs??) these work great.

I'll be honest, the last time I tested an HID system was about 8-9 years ago. So yeah that was a while ago. Technology must have come a long way...

Immensly. The LS430 and LS460 projectors are about the best on the market today. The output... Oh my lord, is godly. The projectors are very big though, and only can be used in housings big enough for them.
