Default LED's in a 2001 F 150

Picked up a pair of LED tail/brake lights from Diode Dynamics for my truck and really like them. I went and put them in after changing my front turn/marker lights with some Pilot 3157 amber lights I happened to pick up at WalMart.

It wasn't until I put the last tail light in did I have a flasher problem. Without the last light, they flashed at the normal rate, but putting it in, the flasher did the rapid pulse rate flash. Will I have to add a resistor to each of the lights, or can I get away with one for each side??

I changed out the door and dome lamps with some of the 194's available, and really like them. Just the 2 map lights and the glove compartment left to go on the inside. Back-up lights look real good, and just the cargo, license plate, and 3rd brake left to go for the outside..

You'll need a load resistor yes. Just on the brake/tail lights. Both sides.

Thanks... Found an LED flasher for it, and it was a bit easier to put in...

Working great
