Thanks alot. Ive always wanted them on a truck. I know every1 has their opinion on them. But to each his own. Me myself my standards are has to set up and be 4wd to look right. Finally just pulled the trigger.

I'm looking at putting cab lights on mine but the local body shop said that I can't use regular screws because of the alluminum. do u know what kind of screws the install shop used on yours?

you definitly should not use any steel screws/bolts in the aluminum. If a steel screw touches aluminum you will eventually get galvanic corrosion.

I'll be using aluminum rivets. No worries about coming loose and will be a much tighter fit than screws anyway.

Bringing back up an older thread, but Im considering installing some clearance lights on mine as well. To the guys who have installed them, have you had any corrosion issues since the install? I was also considering installing the harbor freight lights as they actually are a very well built light. Any issues with them corrosion wise and did you have any up close pictures?

Didn't get recon got f150-250 smoke cab marker lights. so what line do you tap into?
