According to the manufacture they will accept the stock bulbs, however after I get them installed an upgrade to LED is planned.

Can you please share if there is a specific LED bulbs kit that are required for this?

Thanks!

I would not go with LED. HID would be better suited. That's if the projectors are even any good in these. Most aftermarket headlights with projectors are not really good when it comes to light output.

Sorry about the crappy quality pictures, but here they are installed. I'm happy with them, have to wait till dark to see what the light out put looks like.

They look really good. When do the DRL strips come on?

LED will give you longer life and instant on/off and much more durable/easier to install. HID give you SLIGHTLY more lumen (for now, we have a new LED kit we'll be releasing in a few months that will throw light further then HID).

Most of our customers go with our XHP70 for lows and XHP50 for highs in projector housings, like these... some go for the Morimoto HID Elite for the lows and the XHP50 for highs.

I've had some folks tell me they like the LED better. Some tell me they like HID better. I personally run the LED in mine, even though I have HID kits laying around. I like the instant on/off and the durability. Not to mention a LOT less wiring with LED.

Both are great options and if you need some check out our site.

I looked at carrying the Spyder lights but I didn't like the pricing/quality over the Anzos. Verdict is still out with them for me... never been a HUGE fan of Spyder personally.

But for the price (HID are more money since it takes a lot more to make the bulb and wiring) LED beats out HID. For the light throw HID is just SLIGHTLY better (hard to tell by most the difference honestly)

My 2 cents.
