The moriomoto bulbs are decent. You may get a tad more light output with the CBI and even more with the XV or nightbreaker. You tend to get more lumens with a warmer bulb color.
Depending on what you spend, lightwerkz always has coupon codes for at least 10 percent off.
Would you care to elaborate on what is needed to hook them up to the high beam, etc?

2 wires provide power and ground to a shutter on the projector for the high beam. Cant remember if the plug is a direct swap. If not, just splice it in. Wont matter which wire goes where either.

I ordered a set of projectors and bulbs last week from TRS 11/23 @0200 hours. None of it has shipped even yet. It’s been almost 1 week. I’m a little peed off by their customer service. Like anyone who has paid up front for goods or services, you like to be in the loop on when you are to get your items, especially when they are advertised of being in stock on their shelves and in their building. I ordered other items for my truck at the same time from other vendors and they are arriving now. When I emailed TRS asking nicely about the status, they danced around the question speaking of only how great of a company they are and that they only employee so many people and with the overwhelming orders they received over the weekend, they are working as fast as they can......... ok, I’m sure you are, but that doesn’t answer my simple question of: when will my order ship out?

their website says “up to 3 process order during peak season/times”. I would say this is peak season and it has been well past 3 days and they can’t tell me when it will ship. Very poor customer service in my mind! I’m close to just cancelling my order. Any other experiences like this?

i'd be patient. with their black friday/cyber monday sale - i'm sure they got a lot of orders in. I ordered from Lightwerkz last year on black friday and got shipping the same day. i got lucky i think. Lightwerkz posted the other day they got a ton of orders in over the holiday and they're running behind.

maybe call them and see if they can help?

I have nothing but great service from them and have been dealing with them for years for many of my builds. They just had the busiest ordering week they have ever had. Give it another day or so and then shoot them an email for the status.

I placed a call to them and spoke to Travis. I explained to him the “waste of time” email response I received that did nothing to answer my question. He checked on my order status and low and behold, one item was back ordered. Would have been nice if the guy responding to emails would have mentioned that. That certainly explains things, but in reality, if you order an item claimed to be in stock, you should get an automated (at minimum) response stating an item you ordered is back ordered and give you the option to wait on it or cancel. Travis stated that their system was unable to keep track of live inventory during the weekend.

He was very nice about everything and so was I. It definitely made more sense to hear a legit reason as to why my order was delayed. To be honest, any company that has been in business as long as them and doing the number of transactions they do, should have a better, more up to date system in place to keep track of inventory or at least send out notifications of out of stock situations. He said my order should go out by tomorrow. Like I said, I ordered other higher dollar items at a later time than these light parts from other vendors and am already receiving them. TRS isn’t the only place with high sales volume during BF/CM. Point being made here is, if you have concerns or inquiries about orders with TRS, you best just call them. Their email replies are very vague and rarely attempt at answering the question, which upsets me more than the fact that my order hasn’t shipped. I just really wanted to know the status.

Hopefully the parts I receive are of good quality, and if so, I will most likely try to do business with them again.

I just did the switch from halogen to Oem HIDs. I ordered the harness from them on a Friday and even paid for expedited shipping due to wanting the lights installed before a 5 hour drive in the evening. Well I assumed they would ship on Monday. It didn’t end up shipping until Wednesday, but arrived the night before we left for our trip. I actually called on Tuesday to find out if it would be here in time. The guy I spoke to said he would personally take care of it and it appeared he did. I got the original shipping label created within 20 minutes of my phone call.

TRS is certainly a very busy company. I wasn’t upset with the delay, moreso checking to see if it was possible to get the harness before I left. They took care of me. Nothing but high remarks for them.

With that hat being said, I’m sure they got blasted with orders over the weekend.

Well, my stuff still hasn’t shipped. Guess they can’t guarantee things to ship out even when the products are back in stock. My willingness to work with them is getting to be less and less. 1 week + to ship out items is rediculous. I may look elsewhere after this if I need lighting. Slowest shipping I’ve ever seen of any company, regardless of their size.

Well,, spoke to Charlie vis phone today. Asked about my order status and was given the usual ‘beat around the bush’ answer that it is processing and should be shipping in the next few days. Guess what, that’s what I was told last week🙄. Travis actually said that it should have shipped Friday. They keep talking about the great deal I got and that it’s worth the wait. To me, the deal isn’t as important as good customer service. He could not tell me where my order was in the que, even though it was one of the first few places once the sale begun. I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand behind a company
Ike that who won’t or can’t give you updates or at least a solid status or your order, especially since they’ve been operating on my money since the minute I placed the order. Once I told him that I wished to cancel the order, his demeanor changed to slightly gruff and then hung up the phone. Who does that and wants to keep customers? I didn’t tell him that I was never going to order from them again. I just said that I needed the parts and since he couldn’t give me an estimated ship date, that I was gonna have to order them elsewhere. It’ll be 2 weeks this Friday 12/7 since the order was placed. A few bucks off isn’t worth the hassle of dealing with the runaround and waiting weeks to receive an item that is supposedly ‘on the shelf’.

I know a lot of you guys speak highly of them and have had good dealings with them. For some reason, my first experience has been awful. If they are still this behind on shipping this long after the sales, they really need to expand their help and hours of operation. I guess as I’m gettig older I don’t put up with a lot of non sense, and to me, constantly getting the runaround and being told something different each time you speak to someone is rediculous. I guess if I ever decide to order from them in the future, I will call the order in and verify that every item is in stock and will ship within a day or two.
