2014 F150 - Replace factory HID with Aftermarket Bulb/Ballast
Hey guys,
I have a 2014 F150 with Factory HID. I came from a 2014 GMC Sierra where I was able to install 50W ballast and 5000k bulbs in factory projector headlights. The F150 factory HID's are terrible. Aside from doing the Evo-XR projector retrofit, is it possible to swap out the factory ballast with an aftermarket ballast and bulb? I've used TRS for all my vehicles in the past, so that's probably the route I'd go, but I don't know much about what is possible with the ford headlights.
Any info is appreciated.

I'd be anxious to know the answer to this as well.....I've got new bulbs on the the way but never thought of upgrading the ballast.
Plenty of members have retro fitted non HID trucks I wouldn't think it would be a problem.
