Where do you recommend grounding? Also how do you recommend routing the cable from the passenger side to driver side? I wound up going under the radiator because my original route did not reach. Not sure If I picked the wrong routes and grounding points, but it seems like a couple of inches would have made my install time much shorter. There is also a high pitched whine when it first fires up, I am pretty sure it is from the relay harness, but not positive. Is this normal?

Other than those two small issues, I am lovin the new 2013 OEM headlights. I have done a preliminary aligning, and will do a more precise alignment in the next few days.

I just recieved mine on Friday and installed yesterday i had same prob with the ground being to short it just stretched and reached on driver side but I had to splice in a 2 inch wire on passenger side for it to reach.

I got my harness from projectorretrofits yesterday. Installed it today. Same story as others, driver's side ground is 2" too short. I had to add an extension even though i installed as the video said. 4 months of waiting and thats what i get. It works now but i won't order from there again.

Default Horrible

I got tired of waiting and emailed last week asking to cancel my order for my harness, didn't hear anything back so I emailed again 2 days later, and again didn't hear anything back. I disputed the charge on Paypal, still haven't heard anything. I'll make my own. There isn't a chance I would ever consider dealing with this guy again. I feel sorry for anyone waiting on him to retrofit a full set of lights. You'll probably have a new truck before he begins working on them.

Beware - I came on here and spoke my opinion about customer service and complete LACK OF COMMUNICATION regarding this Tux guy and I had an admin delete all my posts and I got flamed by all the Tux Fanboys.

Terrible customer service. I just can't see why everyone can't see that.

Some of us have deposits (retrofits) in well before communication and issues have came up. The thing is he does great work when he gets around to it, the problem is when he gets around to it. If anyone has a phone number please PM me. Thanks

But just the customer service aspect of it alone is enough to negate ANY quality of "work".

Stop yappin, whats so hard bout splicing in 2 inches of wire? If you could have made em yourselves you would have a long time ago. Dude has a job plus other jobs that might be ahead of yours. Im patiently waiting for mine.

Thanks man, I do understand everyone's frustration, as I'm frustrated as well with the lack of parts I need. Add on the stress of work and two young kids you get the picture haha Needless to say I'm going to start implementing deposits for harnesses instead of full payment ls so if someone wants to back out its not a huge amount of money being shifted back and forth.

This is probably the stupidest comment I have read in a long time. If you can splice wires you CAN make it yourself, since that is all there is to it. Especially when there are wiring diagrams and instructions everywhere. I ordered my harness because I was told they were in stock and ready to ship, and I thought that would be faster than sourcing all the parts, not because I was not capable of making my own.

When you pay for a product and wait weeks for it, the product should be right.
