Default Projectors

I have a 2013 F-150 that I want to put HIDs in but do not have projectors in it (I don't know how I didn't think of it when I got it) But there are so many aftermarket out there to choose from.

Is there any brand that is better than the other, I was looking at Recon but I heard they're projectors are more for halogen than HID?

Any help would be awesome.

If you want to due it right, you do need projectors to go with HID's. Go take a look here for the real story; theretrofitsource.com

The 2013 Ford OEM Projectors can be had for around $600 on eBay.

Recon are garbage.

So are Spyder/Spec-D

A proper retrofit of a Mini H1 is simple and quick, looks great.

A retrofit of a FX-R is a little more work but worth it.

I'd rather go the aftermarket route instead of oem because I can get them cheaper through work. We do most aftermarket stuff, but we're just getting into HID and we haven't had anyone yet that didn't have projectors already that wanted HID

Where can we actually purchase completed kits, including the driving lights? Since everyone is dissing Recon and Spyder, where is the next best place for us that aren't confident enough to crack open our lens'? Most of the guys on here are selling the parts, but haven't seen pricing, lead times, etc. I've given up on Tux.

2013 OEM headlights are the way to go if you don't want to retrofit.

Yeah you can get 1 of them de contented for $600.

Keep checking ebay every day, sometimes you get lucky and get a complete set cheap. I paid $1,300.00 for my set a few months ago. Came with the adapter harness.
