I replaced the 3rd brake light as well as both cargo lights with led's. The only issue I have encountered is that one of the cargo lights had lost about half of its brightness. Interestingly, when I open up the light assembly and move the LED around a bit in the socket, the LED returns to it original output. Probably an LED issue. The output from the cargo led's is probably 3 times brighter than the OEM bulbs. The brake light is only a little brighter, but that is not a big deal to me. These have been in place for two years.
Because I have custom made tail light assemblies with V-led lights installed along with a V-LED light bar, my rear facing light output is quite an improvement over the OEM output.
