2011 halogen headlight to 2013 HID projector swap?
I have an opportunity to trade my 2011 factory headlight halogen housings for factory 2013 HID projector housings. It's a no brainer for me the only question is will the wiring plug into my 11 or will it require modification?

I haven't done it and don't know what it really entails, but you will need to modify the wiring. Different bulbs, different plugs, Hids use a ballast, etc.

From what I understand I will need to run a relay which isn't a big deal because I already have an aftermarket HID setup in my halogen housings.
My brother in law works at a used car dealership and willing to trade if the wiring isn't to much of an issue

theretrofitsource.com sells the harness for the conversion, (I had 3 different harnesses and then gave up because I always had issues) but if you need to put the halogens in the hid equipped truck, good luck...

But, like Op mentioned... Your halogens, Wont hookup to a truck that Came with oem HIDs!
