Default 2008 FXR retrofit

Ok so I'm bitting the bullet, I've decided to do my own retrofit on my 08 FX4. I ordered from TRS:
1 x Bi-xenon FX-R Stage III Kit
Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five (35w)
Bulbs: Morimoto 3Five 6000K D2S
Halos: Yes, Morimoto XB LED (White)
Projectors: LHD (North American Standard)
Re-sealing Glue: Yes please
Shrouds: Panamera
Wire Harness: Relay: H13/9008
Is there anything else I should add in or reconsider?

I'm going to finish blacking out my headlights by painting the reflector bowl and shroud. I've pulled headlights before to paint them but this is going to be my first attempt at anything like this. So I'm looking to you retrofit gurus in this section for advice and guidance. Looking through these other threads has given me some inspiration and confidence but I'm still nervous. So if y'all have any tips, references or write ups you would like to share I'm more than willing to listen.

Thanks all!

Heres the link to my install.. It's really not all that bad. There is a how to on f150online that a guy with the username powerz69 made. I followed his advice and added in a few of my tricks which are in my thread. Good luck!

Don't forget your rubber housing caps for the rear of the headlight! Not sure what size so measure with a caliper and add them to your order, I'll be doing a set of your gen f150 heads here real soon as well!

Thanks Tux! I guess I missed that bit of information in the write ups i've been studying... I wouldnt have thought about it until I was almost finished.

Which part of the headlight am I supposed to measure to figure out what size I need? I'm pretty sure I know where but I just want to be sure before I put in my order.

On the back side of your headlights there is a round rubber boot the oem headlight uses, you'll be throwing that away and using a new cone shaped one from trs. You'll wanna measure the outside diameter on the raised plastic rings where the old oem boot was. That's what size you'll need or something close to it, they stretch pretty well so you can go a bit smaller on the new boot size too.

Ignore the dirty lights it's just a extra set of lights I had in my garage. But this is what I should be measuring correct?
