Love this thread! I am waiting on my 28" Amber to put on my SmittyBilt bar, I am looking for Ideas on mounting it LOW to the bar, as opposed to the pic in this thread that has it standing off. I may even remove the two inner tabs in the shop, because I am going to send it to my local powdercoat guy to put a matte type finish on it. Of course...I will send pics as it comes together!

The one in the picture is using the old mounts. The new ones are shorter, and since they are just simple steel L brackets, you can cut and adjust to your specifications!

I don't know if this has been covered in other threads but what about security? I'm assuming the uninstall is as simple as the install, so what are some ways to keep people from walking off with your lights?
