I am looking into buying some "Halo" HID lights with LED strips in the lights. I loved them on my 97 Ford F-150. But this newer big body and bigger headlight housing has me thrown. If anyone has any suggestions on where I can get a good looking set please post with pics, and links if possible. I'd like to buy them pre-smoked. (Going for an all blacked out look.) Thanks in advance for any and all information!!

sorry but i cant help you as far as your 04-08 but i am looking for the same thing on my 97. could you advise me as to what you got on your 97 maybe even a picture of the finished product.

Bump, Still looking to get some updated headlight with the halo ring, and would like some light LED accenting. I also am in the market for some LED tails/3rd brake lights. Preferably all units to come smoked/black housings. Truck is coming together very nicely. Almost done with my mod wish-list for now. Going to be tring to buy a house, so now I'm just going to drive her, and of course do small appearnace mods that are cheap HAHA!

I currently have Dual Halo CCFL Projector headlights and I just ordered a 8000K Hid kit. Does anyone know about the installation of this kit? I'm thinking they are going to have to be retrofitted. I had to retro fit my projectors to make them compatible. Any advice???? I'm worried these aren't going to work?

You should be fine, only thing I've seen is some aftermarket projector housings use a different bulb type so if anything you would need to just order a different type of bulb.
