A pickup is the worst thing he's had for towing? I guess he never had a tricycle or skateboard. No wonder he's so grumpy!

I had a 2005 5.4 Supercab and thought it towed well here in flat Minnesota. I traded for a 2015 3.5 Ecoboost Supercab and know its a major improvement but today reading this forum I realize I am using it way beyond its capability. The way I haul I should no even be able to tow my equipment trailer let alone carry anything on it. Looking the numbers our older F-250 diesel has 3200 pounds lesser tow capacity. Its hard to understand what to buy. My panel tells me I've towed for 8,500 miles of the 45,000 miles I have on this truck. Are there alternatives to suffering the harsher ride and lower fuel economy for only 20% of my driving. In addition this is a farm truck and I have felt more secure towing 20,000 pound unbraked gravity boxes behind this truck than the F-250, possibly because of the stability control systems not on the zero computer F-250.

I have never personally owned a pickup that I can say towed poorly, and I've had many trucks, many brands, and all were fine.

Generally, once a thread is started, comments are encouraged. This is a forum. By definition a forum is a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. Without comments, would there be exchange?
The Silverado four-door crew cab versions are made at GM's assembly plant in Silao, Mexico.
That's all good. No worries. I encourage you to drive a Tundra or Titan. They are nice trucks. Do be aware that they too have similar weight capacities to a current day F150. Depending on your trailer, you may just plain find that a 1/2 ton truck is not capable enough for the task.
100% disagree. Again, going to the forum (or exchange), we common "morons" only work off of the information we have received. In this case, poor information given by the lead "moron" has allowed us to make assumptions and guesses. If the initial "moron" of this thread had provided adequate information and been willing to receive suggestions from the other "morons" on this site, he too might have been lifted from "moron" to "genius" status.
Any of you fellow "morons" willing to sign up on a Titan or Tundra forum to give their "morons" fair warning about the one we're about to lose?
Tell us more about your truck and trailer.
What's the payload of your truck? Whats the model of trailer? How much does it weigh?
