A link to my payload in post # 880. In my signature below are the truck and travel trailer. I have about 400# of payload to spare but I don't think I want to go any bigger. Fortunately I find this trailer quite comfy!

Yeah, one needs at least 2200-2400 pounds payload to even consider a 5th wheel. Even a 10K trailer can drop 2000 pounds on the pin @20%.

Knowing what you can and can't tow is easy enough to figure out; owner's manual, nearly every thread in this towing section. But...you just come and ask for a yes or no here. Lazy.
