I was looking for a set of the add on tow mirrors and the site said the **** brand would not work with the stx style mirrors. I didn't know there was a difference. Anyone know what is changed between the stx trim and others?

You don't mention what year truck but 2009 to 2014 should all be the same.

I have a 14 stx. I thought my mirrors were the same as the other trims just without the turn signals

Yeah, they say they won't work with all kinds of things, like puddle lamps.... it's not that they don't work, it's just that they cover the puddle lamp. Hell man, buy them from somewhere you can return them if the don't fit for some odd reason.

That said... I have an STX but did a mirror swap to add heat, signals, puddles and they worked fine for me.

That's probably what I'll do. I have been wondering if i should buy tow mirrors or just the add ons. I don't really like the looks of tow mirrors for the little bit of time I'll actually need them. I'll just order them from Amazon and send them back if they don't work for some reason.

I have a 2014 STX and have the **** mirrors and they work fine. I bought them on Craigslist for $20 and for the half dozen times a year I need them I'm happy with them over the tow mirrors full time.
