using your truck as a truck pics thread-xoafp.jpg

I meant to post this a while back. This was my 05 screw moving the family from Dallas to Tampa over the summer. The UHaul trailer was packed tight (beds/table/couch/tv/5 bikes and clothes). The truck drove really well with little hits to mileage which was a surprise. I got 14.5mpg with the trailer instead of my typical 15.5mpg city driving.

A nice shot of my truck all happy with a full bed of 'stuff'.

About 150 to 200lb of firewood
Generator full of fuel, about 110lb

What can't be seen is about 250lb of water (we are winter camping and you need your own water)

Other misc.

Oh and the half full Coors of course...

That's a nice truck, like the colours. How is it for rust?

Over 500lb and still looks like it's empty. Yep, it's an HD

1994 F250 hauling the family and pulling the camper.

Another camping trip with my parents and their Expedition pulling their camper.

My truck doing REAL WORK, saving my life. Driver of the Honda blew through the intersection at approx 65mph, I was on the highway and saw her coming. I was doing about 30-40 when she hit me. I walked away with only a reminder stripe from my seat belt.

The replacement truck for ^^^ 2001 SuperCrew, plus a smaller camper.

And a little fun with some friends in the snow.

Almost none just some really really light spots where some of the paint got scraped off
