Default Truck Newb: AL Beds/Loading Soil?

So, I know this is a silly question, but I was considering hauling some topsoil with my 2018 and was wondering if having the landscape company use their loader to load the truck is a problem with "just" an F-150, especially with the AL bed. Of course I'm only talking about at most 1/2 yard (~1,000 lbs) at a time. I've hauled mulch and plenty of hand loaded stones, pavers and other heavy materials but am a bit wary of having a loader dump heavy soil into the bed.

Dumping loose soil shouldn't be a problem. And as long as you're within payload limits it'll be fine.

Years ago I used to get a loader dumping 1/2 yard of horse manure into my 1972 Ford Courier, a little truck with 1800 cc 4 banger, no problem. When I got into trouble was doing the same with gravel, but it was the shocks that broke.

As long as the loader doesn't "drop" the load all at once you should be just fine.

Whatever you do, dont throw a metal tool box into your bed at the perfect angle.

I do this a lot and shouldn't be a problem since the loader is only a few feet off the bed and the dirt doesn't come out in one lump. I find cleaning up after is the biggest pain so I line the bed with a tarp and can then pull it out to get the last bits of dirt.

Apparently never saw the video of Ford Dumping Granite Blocks via Front End Loader for load after load into the 2015. Seriously I didn't really buy it either even with the spray-in bedliner.

I do think you will be okay as long as the loader takes care.
