well what gear are you pulling in. are you in high or low range. Your not getting wheel speed on the truck that's why your not getting rpms you need. I would try pulling second low range stock wheels. then hopefully your first in your class drop to 6th place and pull again in 1st gear low range.

either your tranny can't put the power down or you just have to much grip. Also try hooking the pinel hitch at a lower point so the sled isn't pulling down on the truck so hard might reduce traction on most trucks but in your case you need to reduce it some. Blow the tires up fully don't deflate like some do. good luck maybe we will see ya out there pulling

I've ran it stock tires lol.. same problem.. I look at the track and decide on which tires I need. I've tried smaller skinny tires, Ive tried these tires and I have pulling treads I run on sandy or gravel tracks. Even with no sled, when I pull someone out of the mud. It starts strong and slowly just loses torque and RPM, or if I do a burn out.. same issue. I may go lower gears. Maybe 4.88 or even possibly 5.13's IDK how bad that is going to change the MPG or cruising RPM.
