Default Tree pulling

Over the weekend at the farm, the farmer had a cedar tree down on his fence. My brother and I followed him down to it and he said if we could cut the root off of it, he could pull it out with his Kubota RTV.

Well, we cut it off and hooked up the chain, and all he did was spin the tires. He thought he'd have to get the tractor and pull it out and I said let me give it a try. I had a load of firewood in the back of the truck already, so we just hooked it and I pulled it out like it wasn't there. He was pretty impressed!

I don't know what made him think his RTV was going to be heavy enough to pull a tree... that's clearly the work for a truck or tractor

His dad probably wouldn't have tried it, but I guess he thought with the 4 wheel drive and diesel engine, he could get it out.

Without the weight of the wood in your truck you'd have probably just spun tires too.
