I did a DIY install of the OEM 2021 TBC a few months ago. Feel free to search my post history on that one :o)

Anyways, everything has been working just fine except recently I've been experiencing the following. I have taken a picture of one of the fault alerts and another video of what is actually happening with my right blinker. Oddly enough, the left blinker seems fine. The lights on the trailer are also fine. I have tried 2 trailers, one with 4-pin and one with 6-pin. Does anyone have any pointers what might be happening here?

Everything was fine for about 2 months, and then, as far as I can tell the only variable that has changed is the weather being colder and wetter.

 

I would check the ground on your truck plug. To verify, run some jumper cables from the frame of your truck to the frame of a trailer (just an easy way to add a solid ground for testing)

 

i was towing a small 5x8 aft trailer today. Was raining and about half way I got a right trailer light fault as well. The blinker inside the truck was flashing fast but the outside truck lights were flashing normal. I also noticed the right trailer light was on bright or like if I was pressing the brake pedal. Haven’t had time to check the trailer of the truck but will see what i find. I wonder if water got in the plugs or connection point.
