I get zero bounce with the Blue Ox, but I also use bars sized for the weight. I would bet most people with bouncing have too light of a bar set for the receiver weight. If the weight on the hitch is at the upper limit of the bars, it can cause bouncing because they can't supply enough torsion. With the Husky it did bounce a bit, but with more weight up front it settled down. Bouncing is usually caused by trailer imbalance, or not enough tongue weight, or too light of a WDH spring bar. Bags don't fix the issue, or eliminate it, they mask it.
My trailer loaded and wet is near 1000 pounds on the receiver, and slightly over with the hitch, and with the 800 pound bars on the husky, they were sprung pretty tight, which caused all kinds of issues including bounce. With the BO and 1500 pound bars, the entire rig is rock solid. Night and day difference. I didn't even bother putting the Sumo springs on this truck since it tows so well.
My little 16 x 12 cargo was doing a little bouncing too, had a little too much weight in the rear, stuff I normally put in the bed of the truck I stuck in the rear, wont be doing that again. Had I used my normal 4" rise shank, it would have been a quite uncomfortable tow, but used my short 2" drop one instead, didn't like how high the trailer sat. It probably would have been swaying and bouncing, especially coming home with the wind. Interesting what 50 pounds can do.

My rear sagged just enough to level the truck. Front axle returned to 100% unloaded weight with weight distribution. I had porpoising issues due to the soft suspension so I put SumoSpring Solos on the rear. No bouncing now.

The place i bought the camper setup the WDH and i dont think its right. We had absolutely no sway but on the interstate a odd push pull bounce at about 62mph. I haven't had a chance to get to the cat scales or do any measurements. But i believe the nose is a hair high and the ball might need tilted and lowered. They convinced me i would be fine with this hitch as i wanted the equal-i-zer. Its a reese with the chains and the bars are only 750lb told me the 1200 would be to rough. I can only get it to the last link when lifting with tongue jack also. Since i didnt have to pay for hitch my just go get equal-i-zer but will see if i can get this one set up.

Man that is a big trailer, makes the truck look tiny. You need to weigh that tongue when you have the trailer loaded out, there is no way that can be an under 700 pound TW, Another case of the dealer being full of it.

I tow a very light Avenger that is 5000 lbs (from the factory) and 6200 loaded very lightly. The place that rents it, still looks me dead in the eye and promises the hw is under 500 lbs because the brochure says so.

Wow, Just got the equal-i-zer hitch on and adjusted. Man what a difference towing between the setup i had. Only did a short 30 mile test on interstate but much more enjoyable. The camper looks level maybe just a hair low in the front not high like before. Front wheel well measured 38 inches with nothing hooked up and 38 with bars on hitch. The truck only sagged 1 3/4 inches in back with camper hooked up without bars on.

The top of the line WDH's are the Blue Ox and the Hensley's. They're a completely different design to my old generic WDH. My friction style sway control helped some, however I'd still get blown in another lane when towing with a 1/2 ton.
