I was looking at those mirrors for my 2018 f150. I currently have a Chevy 1500 with max tow package and like my row mirros. But this year we will start hauling are camper with the f150
(its 38ft from bumper to tongue) so I NEED to see what the campers is doing. I'm going back and fourth about buying tow mirrors or buying slip on mirrors. Just not sure if I will be able to see with those slip on mirrors

Yes they are, pain by yourself, but they fully adjust in all directions. THe snap on ones have a larger mirror, but the set I have they shake too much to be useful, and have them tightened almost to breaking, the **** have smaller glass, but are rock steady at all speeds.

It all depends on what your used to and how much you really need to see. For me, being a truck driver, a quick glance on even the small mirror tells me all I need, but not everyone can process it that way and find the larger mirrors to be easier to use. Personally I don't like the huge Dumbo ears on the truck for the amount I drive it, I had them on a 2012 that had the chrome package and found them to be more of a distraction at night than any usefulness otherwise. The add on mirrors are adequate. If I were to get the tow mirrors I would make sure they had the matte black caps on them.

I set them up so that the edge of the trailer is seen when I lean my head toward the mirror, so that when driving I can see the lane next to me with a glance to the side. When backing up, then I lean over a bit to see the trailer.

I have the **** mirrors that replaced my garbage syppo tow mirrors. They are actually made about 3 min from my house, they save a camping trip for me because they let me pick them up at the factory after the syppo failed the day of our trip! They are solid, little to no vibration and super easy to install. Down side is the tow mirror is small, very small. I have zero issue going down the road as i can see what's next to me but backing up i have problems seeing everything i need. My camper is longer though at 34'+ over all so that's not helping matters. Pulling my boat or utility trailer they are great.

I will be going back to factory style tow mirrors, just don't know what ones yet. Not syppo's though i know that...

I just bought the snap and zap mirrors but have not towed w/ them yet. Hope they don't jiggle at 65 MPH. I'll post a followup after I tow this spring.

For $29 the Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on Trailer Towing Mirror works great. I used them all last summer on another tow vehicle. Towed around 350 miles on the F150 this past weekend and they were solid at ~70 mph.

Got the snap and zap mirrors from Amazon last week and used them this past weekend for the very first time. Very easy to put on and don't scratch stock mirrors. I will say well worth the $50. Yes the passenger side isn't the easiest to see out of, but way better then the stock for sure. Only issue I noticed with them is there is a little rattle going on driving down the freeway at 70mph. I'm going to put a little foam tape on the inside of them and I think it will fix it just fine. Or just turn the radio up. Also vibrations really are not that bad. Better then spending $300 for tow mirrors. My 2 cents

These things are great. Don't look half bad either.

I just started towing w/ the Snap and Zap tow mirrors, I had to grind a radius on the sharp edge that hit the rubber when mirrors are closed. They work great and the regular mirrors show pretty well beyond the 8'0 wide trailer.

I had that same issue with the **** and Snap n zap. gouge the crap out of the trim. I remembered that before using them on my 18 and did the same thing, ground the corner so it cleared.
