That 70's Lincoln Continental will have a lot of tongue weight with the big 460 up front(most of them had the 460). So I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you will be over-loaded on tongue-weight at least. Most dual axle car trailers only have GVWR of 7k total weight. I'm gonna bet that standard car hauler will not haul that Lincoln. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people on here than myself.

I towed with my 14 Limited for 3 years I did up grade the tires to Goodyear futura 285-35-22 a 6 ply tire , Towed my Winnebago tt. 6200 lbs never had a issue, so yes towing isnít a issue if within guide lines
