I'll be towing my new F-150 Limited on a tow dolly behind a 2017 F-150 rental. The owners manual tells me how to disengage the transmission for flat towing behind a motorhome-type of situation but does not recommend towing on a sling behind a two truck. Anyone done this? Any recommendations?

Tow it backwards and make sure transfer case is in neutral.
