Your reply makes sense is is probably how I will start. My old TV worked well in cruise control much of the time but was a little too aggressive in slowing down coming down and incline so I often manually controlled steep down grades. All of these comments are very helpful in getting a sense of what people have found and I think it will be very useful starting point. It does seem the tow mode is a well thought out feature that I didn't even know about when I purchased the truck. But I'm finding reading these boards that there was a lot I didn't know about, and fortunately ended up with a reasonable set of specs on mine. Take a trip to Joshua Tree this weekend and getting my WDH set up this week, so anxious to see how it settles in.
