See the attached link for 2013 towing spes from Ford http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g...rv&tt_f150.pdf
2013 SCrew w/3.5L EB, 145"wb, 2x4, & 3.31 gear = 9400lb max trailer. As others have stated, you need to determine your "REMAINING" Payload. What's left after you subtract bed liner, tonnue cover, people, gear loaded in the truck, this will give you a max tongue weight for the trailer (others will add the WDH as well, however w/WDH a percentage of the tongue weight is actually transfered back to the trailer, usually enough to cover the wdh weight). Keep one thing in mind, every 100lb of gear loaded in the truck is a 100lb less in remaining payload. But every 100lb of gear in the trailer adds only 10 to 15lbs to the truck. So load the trailer up as much as possible.

Thanks for the info guys! It makes more sense now.

KR, I do have a 3.31 rear (axle code is L3) and I also have the trailer tow package. I was able to pull up the factory window sticker using my VIN # to see what goodies came on the truck
