Default Tow/Haul Not Working in 2009 F150 FX4

I bought my truck used last year from a dealer. I went to use the tow haul feature this past weekend and the light is not coming on nor is the tow/haul kicking in when pulling my trailer. Any help would be appreciated.

Check for a blown fuse or just bring back to dealer. Should have warranty?

Big Walleye, It is still under warranty, but the dealer called me today and left a message that that it wasn't covered? Would this be under powertrain?

How many miles are on it. Warranty is out at 60.000 miles.

I would think that would be part of the power train covered by warranty,

dealer told me the tow haul is not covered because it is electrical and they can't fix the transmission issue until the tow haul (electrical/wire) is resolved? I hate dealing with these guys. my local mechanic is way better to deal with.

Get the manager's name. Then call a Ford Customer Service rep with the information and explain what is going on. Had the same problem with my 09 XL when a solenoid burnt up a wiring harness on my transmission. Dealership tried telling me it wasn't a warranty issue. I called the people at Ford and within a day the dealership called me back saying to bring it in.

When I called I think I just asked the operator who I needed to talk to about a complaint about an authorized Ford dealer not wanting to do warranty work. They transferred me to somebody. That was like 4 years ago though. Lol.
