Default Tow angle

I picked up this TT from the RV dealer and they installed the WDH and set it up. I dont like the angle of the trailer.

First off, the picture isnt exactly level and plays with your eyes.

The truck is level front and back.

The trailer dips at the front. What adjustment would i need to make to have the trailer sit level. there is only one hole left to move the ball up. I may have to flip the shank to rise instead of drop?

Move the ball up 1 hole and have another look. It looks like it is a bit too low. Its not a big job if you have the tools (basically the 2 large sockets).

Agree - Looks like you have the solution options in the right order.
Raise up one hole. If that doesn't work, flip the shank.

They set it up level, at least the A frame is, but the trailer itself is not. Before taking the wrench to it, level the trailer, measure the socket height from the ground, then measure the ball. It should be about an inch higher. If not, there's your answer.

Very nice setup, congratz! The trailer is nose down as you mentioned, clearly. Either you need to move it up one final hole (which will probably be enough from the looks of it) or a little more tension on the WD chains but that's something that requires a setup analysis like @acdii suggested above, otherwise you could over tighten and make a very stiff ride which is unnecessary.

How many washers are tilting the ball? From husky, 1-5 inch frames 2 washers, 6-12 inch 3 washers. The ball should be 1" higher the the leveled trailer coupler. Just went thru this with ours, Dealer had it all wrong according to Husky, ball too high and 1 too many washers. Which changes the L brackets. Ball was 2.5 higher, and with 3 washers and their l bracket adjustments, the trailer was trying to pick my truck up going down the road. Scary tow!! Now the ball is 1.25, and Im running 2 washers which puts more weight on the truck. Front dropped .5 and the rear dropped 3/4. Apex 235BHS Dry weight 4500 TW 540. I'll find out Thursday how she tows at speed. Trailer about 3/4" nose high now

When you check the coupler height, use a tape measure to level the trailer, not a bubble level.

Keep in mind, if you cannot get it perfectly level, that nose down is better than nose up for the trailer.

I could not get mine 100% level so I always tow a touch nose down on the trailer.

No problems.
