Super Springs
Anyone using them. Do you like them, hate them, think they do nothing?
im not looking to overload my truck, I just thought they may take some of the squat out of it when I was hauling things that approach the load limit.
What has has been your experience?

Awesome with the new pad instead of the additional bracket. I have used them before and some members here like them to . Lay on top and 1 bolt and roller and it's done.
With that said, I'm currently using Timbrens on my HDPP f150 now. Running a 1/2 gap unloaded using the additional spacer supplied. When I hooked up a 7x14 total loaded weight just under 5,000. My back just squats just enough to touch.
Even with a 1/2 gap unloaded. Hitting the biggest speed bumps and the hardest potholes is still the same WITH or WITHOUT the Timbrens. Highly recommend.
If you want pics, I'll post them if you want.

I went ahead and bought them. Also adding a Curt receiver hitch. Put it and the axle spacers on today. Hopefully I can get the springs on tomorrow. I’ll report out on how it goes.

squat is a half-ton thing that is only a cosmetic deal. If it bothers you that much cosmetic wise, get a light set of airbags that you can remove air from when not loaded.

I'd be all into the supersprings if they keep the truck at stock height, but give a firmer bed.

And I’m aware it doesn’t change payload, actually, it reduces it because of the weight added, but if I could put a trailer behind it and not blind traffic, I will be happy.

I haven't used the new ssa28 super springs. But with the older version with my older f150 I used the super springs. There is 2 settings stiff and stiffer depending on it you use the upper or lower hole. Mine was the same stock height using the softer setting and a 1 to 1 1/2 inch lift with the stiffest setting. Using the softer setting I never had any sag with approx 500 to 1000 lbs in the bed. If I recall right, that truck had a payload rating of 1400 on the sticker.

Got them on. I used 1 top and 1 bottom hole to mount so just a slight preload. The install was very easy, 1 person, about an hour total. I did not remove the tire and wheel. After install my rear bumper was up 1 inch. After install I went to pick up a load, 1500 lbs in the bed caused 2 inches of squat. That I can deal with.

2 inches of squat with 1500 in the bed is great. If you use the other holes for the rollers it will be even firmer. Unless you carry a heavy load all the time or a slide inn camper, I would leave them right there.
