I'm officially confused.

Ford list max payload for that powertrain, wheelbase and cab at 2150 lb.

Would you mind terribly looking at the doorjamb payload sticker again and see if by chance it might of been 2080 lb?

As a couple others have noted, dumping one off the ramps sucks. I've done it both ways and the trailer is far far easier, it also lets you bring more stuff for whatever ever your doing, hunting or camping gear.

Use a ratchet strap to keep the ramps from sliding away. Simple fix and should always be done. Many have been hurt kicking out a ramp while loading a quad, side by side, riding mower, etc. This includes my own father at 60 years of age. Lucky he wasn't badly hurt.
