Side by Side in bed of F150
Hey guys,
Traded my 13 5.0l FX4 for a 17 3.5l/10 speed about a week ago, It's a supercab, 6.5' box, and has a payload sticker for 2280lbs.
I am within the limits for payload, so I know that will be fine.
SxS 1150lbs wet
Me: 250lbs (dry? wet? LOL)
Ramps: 50lbs
Misc gear: Say... 200lbs to be safe?
Leaves me with ~650lbs of "leeway"
Measurement wise, it will fit into the bed, with the rear two wheels on the tailgate- Speaking of, I've dug and dug and I can't seem to find the weight rating for the tailgate anywhere?
My question, is does anyone know of a company which makes a ramp system to get over the wheelwell hump? I could fabricate something out of say 2x12 lumber, or steel, but I think i'd prefer a pre-made solution...

Trailer for me,having dumped my 4wheeler off the ramps due to frost at 2-3 am and nobody around I load the nite before.I wouldn't trust the cables for that much weight,a locking hitch might support some of the weight, bulldog hitch or some thing close to the name might prove to be a help or at least a safety if a cable did break

Interesting idea!
I'll be putting down 2x12's to take some of the strain off the tailgate, but my question was if someone makes something to get over the wheel arches, or if they're strong enough to just drive over? (see picture)
