Default Setting up a F150 for Gooseneck and converting a 5'er

Truck: 2014 F150 Screw XLT, 5.0, 4x4 with HD Payload package, 6.5 ft bed (still not delivered, but due in a couple of weeks)

This is what I think I need:

Gooseneck hitch: Curt Gooseneck
http://www.etrailer.com/g-2014_Ford_F-150.htm?Style=6-1%2F2+Foot+Bed

5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter: Reese Goose Box
http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Coupler/Reese/RP94622.html

-Would I be safe to make sharp turns with this set up?
-Would I need to put in a different tail gate?
-How do I prevent rusting where the gooseneck hole is drilled into the bed?

Anything I am missing? It alread costs A LOT and all this for a small, old 5er I don't even own yet. I want a small 5er to be able to tow my fishing boat... So I need the 5er and not a convensional trailer

Why wouldn't you put a 5th wheel hitch in the bed with the rails and buy the goose neck pin extension to hook in with the hitch. If that's not an option you can by the gooseneck ball plate to slide into the rails.

Don't want the rails and this option is cheaper than getting hidden/under bed rails.
