Default Power Tongue Jack

Looking at doing a TT mod this coming spring. Want to put on a power tongue jack on my little toy hauler. My little camper is 20'2" Tip to Stern, dry weight 3031lbs, and fully loaded weight is around 4300lbs. It's a single axle camper, and the tongue weight is 400lbs. Is there a brand i should get, or should stay away from? Not looking to spend $300 on one, but don't want to spend $50 on one that will fail within the first trip or two out.

Realistically it is going to be a convenience item for you. Anything you buy will be overkill for your application. The jack won't even really know your trailer is there. Most e jacks are 3500lb and run between $100 and $200 bucks. The one I had I believe was a Lippert. It had a light that you could turn on to shine down on the hitch which was I thought a waste but turned out to be pretty darn convenient really. If you have a reasonably nearby RV store you might check with them that way you have some local service and replacement for issues.

Biggest thing to look at is how easy it is to bypass with a handcrank should the motor or battery give out.

yeah it is a purely convenience item. Since i am the one who does all of the hooking and unhooking of the camper, however if the mrs. takes the camper on her own, i don't want her working all that hard if she has to unhook it on her own. I have been cruising amazon and see that the price range you said is about on par from what i am seeing with the weight (3500lbs). The ones i have looked at do have the manual bypass in case of a dead battery or failure, i always like a back up plan. I do have a couple places nearby worth bugging and information gathering for sure.

I bought this one from Amazon about 2 months ago, so far sop good.
Amazon Amazon

I bought a cheap one from ebay and it lasted about 4 years. Would have been longer but I did not have a cover over it so the rain go inside and rusted the gears and finally killed the motor.
Didn't really care for it having a light since I have plenty of lights on the truck but the price and reviews were great.

I have had a Harbor freight jack for about 4 years now, no issues. I was expecting a year or two but its been solid, last 2 years with about 1k of TW plus the weight of lifting the back of the truck up to put the bars on. first 2 years where with our hybrid that about 400lb of TW but was lifting the back of the jeep to get the bars on.

I bought the Jack Quick 3000 from Amazon. It is less than $100, and works great. I too thought it was a convenience, but found it helps immensely when installing the WDH bars. It saves my back, and there's nothing worse than hurting yourself before you have left home.

My TT is a Winnebago Micro Minnie, 22', about 4K lbs.

Never have seen electric tongue jacks at HF. Are they on their website?

Keep in mind that some electric tongue jacks will keep the tailgate from opening when the trailer is hooked up. Depending upon the model they can be turned to get clearance and others nothing can be done to get enough clearance.
