I don't claim to know anything about automotive electric. But if you are losing power because of the length of the wire, then you need a bigger wire. Replace the wire from the hitch to the camera with a heavier stranded wire. If that doesn't solve the problem, then replace the "hot" wire in the trailer wiring harness that goes from the fuse/relay box to the hitch with a heavier stranded wire.

Thanks but that's not it. I'm using trailer wire which is rated properly for that distance. However it's just a restriction of the wireless camera itself. The power is fine but the video signal is going out of range.

Nothing I can do about it unfortunately.

Sure there is! You need to find a way to get th wireless antennas closer together. Is it self-contained units (camera unit and display unit) or do one or both units have an external antenna?

The power is fine, when i switch my lights on (they're on anyways as running lights so you dont actually see a difference other than on the interior lights).

Oh well it was fun trying.
Here is a couple of thoughts:
1st open the case on the camera and see if you can find the antenna wire and connect to it. If you can then connect a long wire or better try connecting the anntena to the trailer frame see if you can pick up the signal in the cab. If this works then install a pigtail at the back of the trailer that lets you plug in back there to get power and the antenna extesion.
