Amazing - Not sure what would be ~ 90lbs

Now @stvbrtls 2017 KR and my 2019 Lariat are very close. 1690 vs 1667. Diff 23 lbs and he has 5.0 w 6spd, massage seats and pwr running boards, skid plates (FX4) and no moon roof?

Noticed spare tires are different on some.

Most informative post for me. I have the Platinum version of your truck, 4x2, 6750 GVWR, Max Tow. So comparing the STX to the Platinum, there is about 235 pounds of stuff in the cab between the seats, console, amps, inverters, etc. Mine is 1557.

For those of you with the lower payloads, I have some info. that may make you feel a bit better about yourself, and your truck

A friend on another forum mentioned that he was getting tired of his Duramax diesel and was thinking of going over to a Ram truck. He shows up with this one: https://www.jakesweeneychryslerjeepd...0c1a6be50f.htm

Of course there's no pic of the door sticker, but listed in the "Tech Specs" below the listing is this bit:

Specs and Dimensions

  • Compression ratio: 10.00 to 1
  • Engine horsepower: 410hp @ 5,600RPM
  • Front headroom: 1,039mm (40.9")
  • Rear legroom: 1,021mm (40.2")
  • Payload: 685kg (1,510lbs)
  • Turning radius: 7.3m (24.1')
  • Passenger volume: 3,528L (124.6 cu.ft.)
  • Exterior height: 2,055mm (80.9")
  • Curb weight: 3,203kg (7,061lbs)
  • Front shoulder room: 1,674mm (65.9")
  • Wheelbase: 3,785mm (149.0")
  • Exterior body width: 2,009mm (79.1")
  • Towing capacity: 4,695kg (10,350lbs)
  • Engine bore x stroke: 103.9mm x 94.5mm (4.09" x 3.72")
  • Rear hiproom: 1,593mm (62.7")
  • Rear headroom: 1,011mm (39.8")
  • Front legroom: 1,039mm (40.9")
  • Exterior length: 6,066mm (238.8")
  • Engine displacement: 6.4 L
  • Engine torque: 429 lb.-ft. @ 4,000RPM
  • Rear shoulder room: 1,666mm (65.6")
  • GVWR: 3,885kg (8,565lbs)
  • Front hiproom: 1,598mm (62.9")
And this beast of a truck goes 0-60mph in just over 8secs and gets about 16.4 mpg highway.

I didn't have the heart to tell him the numbers for my $38k F150

Poor sucker. My EB Platinum can tow more than that! It also has more payload, and more torque. SMH.

Yeah, most F150s can tow/haul more, faster, and use less gas doing it.

And those are the max numbers, the door sticker wasn't posted.

The guy is about 6'-6", so he's likely getting a 3/4 ton just for the added space. He's mentioned before that he doesn't tow/haul much.

What extra space? The cabs are the same size and so is the bed.

I was not aware of that, I've not sat in the new Ram 3/4 tons.

I can say that the Ram 5500 has a larger cab than my F150. Or at least it felt like it
