Interesting, the 18" wheel, 6.5' bed crew cab loaded lariats come with a 3600 lbs front axle rating while the 20" wheel, 6.5' bed crew cab loaded lariats come with a 3650 lbs front axle.

The 18" wheel, 5.5' bed crew cab loaded lariat comes with a 3525 lbs front axle raing.

My 17" wheel, 5.5' bed crew cab 36 gallon gas tank, semi loaded XLT comes with a 3450 lbs front axle rating. Others like mine but with the tiny 23 gallon tank, come with a 3375 lbs front axle rating.

Just me and the wife. If the friends want to tag along, they can follow in their own vehicle!

12" gets you 200! Looks like power running boards take up 26# off payload when comparing what mine has to what was posted above with similar options and 1596 payload.

Once i got my truck i started looking at what size TTs i could tow. From my initial searching, i thought i had a crappy payload. But after looking at this thread, I don't feel that bad anymore lol.

Nope, not bad...RWD lots better than 4WD...
23gal better than 36gal...(surprised you got that with (Max?) Tow)

Moonroof hurts a bit...but not enough to offset the advantages above...

I'd go with RWD if I didn't have to deal with snow.

Its not Max tow, looks like normal tow package with trailer brake included. This was bought used a couple weeks ago.

actually 4wd doesn't hurt payload all that much.

my 4wd has 2112# payload capacity.
