I think that may be true. Even my HDPP with an 8 ft bed weighs about 6,000 lb. It is 8,200 lb GVW and 2,200 lb payload. Probably the XLT and Supercab make it lighter.

And once you add in the sprayed-in bed liner, ARE tonneau cover, and dual 10" subs with box, my truck is even heavier!

But it sure is fun to drive with the 5 Star tune
